Do you have a shrub in your garden that brings absolute joy when it’s in bud and then in flower. For the Little Cellar Rat is has to be RAPHIOLEPIS or INDIAN HAWTHORN. You wait in anticipation as the myriad of buds appear then for the full flowers to come. They look like mature apple or peach blossoms and they bring absolutely joy to the Heart! They come in White and Pink varieties…. TLCR has a white one that seems to have a spur of the pink. How fortunate!
