If you’re motoring around our district at present, keep an eye out for locos/ cane trains carrying harvested cane to Isis Central Mill. The countryside is an ever changing scene with fields taking on a cleanly shaven look as the sweet grass is cut for another year, leaving a distinct aroma of sweet brown sugar and molasses in the air.
